1 year old!

We can hardly believe that Emmett is one year old. Emmett's birthday was a beautiful fall day so we took some photos of him outside and just last week we took some portraits of him in the studio too. He's walking around like crazy and loves the TV, remote control, cell phones, and computer. Anything electronic intrigues him.

Halloween

Emmett dressed up as Jaws for Halloween. And, Amber and I were his surfing victims. Very scary.

8 months old

Well our little Emmett is getting so big. He's crawling over the place and is starting to pull himself up in his crib and up on other furniture. Crazy kiddo! Here's a few pics from his 8 mo. session.

7 months old

We took Emmett outside for his 7 month photos. He's getting really good at sitting and is getting up on his hands and knees. He'll be getting into all our stuff before we know it!

6 Months old

Well our little Emmett is already 6 months old. This last month was a big month for him . . . he learned to roll over from back to front and front to back. And he's sitting up (somewhat wobbly). He's getting more and more fun every day!

Dots

Well, Emmett officially grew out of Amber's favorite outfit - the "Dots" outfit from Baby Gap. It was never one of my favorites, but who cares what Rob thinks. It's crazy when we think about how much this kiddo has grown already.

Bath Time

Little dude loves his baths. He hasn't learned to splash yet, but he loves just floating around in the tub. (His immense amount of baby flab makes it especially easy to float.)

Just Chilling

We bought a new fisheye lens for our camera and we had some fun taking photos of Emmett doing what Emmett does best . . . chill. He likes to sit in his Bumbo chair (at least for a few minutes) and he's starting to enjoy his exer-saucer. He's starting to learn to use his hands and he hits the toys in front of him.

Emmett's First Christmas

Amber, Emmett and I had a really nice Christmas at the farm with Amber's family. Emmett got a few fun toys and puzzles, but slept through most of the action. Next year, he'll probably enjoy tearing open wrapping paper. I really look forward to the years when I can buy him cool toys like Laser Tag, Lincoln Logs, Balls, and other fun stuff that I enjoyed as a kid.
